How many people are in a group?

Accepted Answer

Maximum of 5 learners, based on ability/year group.There are many benefits to learning in a small group, for example;Working alongside others can create a sense of challenge and accountability. It’s easier to stay engaged when others around you are also learning.Seeing peers progress can encourage learners to push themselves further and stay focused.Learners often get more opportunities to discuss ideas, explain answers, and ask questions—helping them build confidence in expressing themselves.

Are all your tutors qualified teachers?

Yes. All of our tutors have worked in a variety of education settings and hold an enhanced DBS check with a vast amount of experience.

Do you support learners with additional needs and/or anxiety?

Yes. Our tutors are all trained and confident in supporting and working with learners with ALN and anxiety.Many of our learners who attend have ALN/anxiety and thrive in our calm, welcoming setting.

Does my child need an assessment?

Accepted Answer

All primary aged learners require an assessment; this will help us to identify any gaps in learning and their strengths so that we can group them accurately.If your child is in Year 10 or Year 11, an assessment isn’t required but please provide us with the tier/level they are sitting to help us group them accordingly.

Do you offer daytime support for home educated children?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer a half or full day daytime programme for our daytime learners.

We focus on developing core literacy and numeracy skills, ensuring every learner builds the strong foundations they need to progress with confidence.

Learning is brought to life through engaging, topic-based activities, giving learners opportunities to apply their skills in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

Can my child sit their exams with you?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support learners who require a small, supportive, accessible and welcoming environment in which to sit their exams. Our examination service is available to home-educated students, private candidates, adult learners, and those studying independently or resitting qualifications.
