About Us

ICAN Education is an award winning private tuition centre based in Pontypool which supports students from 4-18 years. Our team of dedicated tutors are not just educators but fully qualified teachers specialising in Mathematics, English and Science. From Primary to A-Level, we support students each step of the way, aiming to nurture knowledge, boost confidence, and empower all students to fulfil their potential.

At ICAN Education, we pride ourselves on ensuring lessons are fun and engaging, encouraging a genuine love for learning to remove any barriers that may impede progress. Prior to our students joining ICAN Education, each student will undergo a comprehensive initial assessment. The aim of an initial assessment is to identify strengths and areas for development, allowing us to plan and develop purposeful lessons that lead to overall progression. Progress is monitored and evaluated after each lesson, whilst assessments are completely termly to acknowledge progression and identify new areas of development. 

 

To reinforce learning that takes place within each lesson, our tutors provide purposeful homework after each lesson, offering an opportunity to practice and assess knowledge and understanding.
